Funeral and Burial Services

We are a church that tries to say ‘yes’ to requests for a Christian Baptism, Marriage or Funeral, but there are certain qualifications that apply, and we are happy to help you decide if this is the right thing for you or your loved ones.

Baptism, Marriage and Funerals all mark crossroads or milestones in our lives and in the lives of those closest to us, our family and friends. They are important events in the life of the parish family too, marking as they do turning points on our journey in the Christian faith.

If the deceased lived in this parish, or was on our church electoral roll, then they are entitled to a funeral in the church and burial in the cemetery.

📄 Regulations for the Lower Churchyard

There are many other crossroads that occur in our life – some happy and some sad – and if you think you would like this marked in a Christian way, either as celebration or closure, then do speak to Sharon.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Arrangements for funerals, burials and the interment of ashes may only be made directly with Revd Sharon Francis, so please Get in Touch if you wish to make any such arrangements.
